Nagarjuna Training Institute (NTI) hosted an interactive guest session on 11 July 2026 featuring representatives from the creative and corporate sectors. The session introduced students to international theatre production, cross-cultural collaboration, and emerging opportunities in the performing arts and related industries.
The programme was attended by Mr. Myen Soo Kim, General Producer and President of MSMC Co. Ltd., South Korea, Mr. Pramod J. Sangode, Director of the Mapral Group of Companies, and Mr. Vikas, who has extensive professional experience working with Korean enterprises. The session was coordinated by Mr. Bhanu Pratap, Academic Director of Nagarjuna Training Institute, who welcomed the guests and introduced them to the students and faculty members.
Mr. Pramod J. Sangode provided an overview of the theatrical production, explaining its concept, creative development, and collaborative approach. Mr. Vikas shared his professional experience working with Korean organizations and spoke about the importance of international partnerships in creating educational and career opportunities for young people.
Addressing the participants, Mr. Myen Soo Kim introduced the theatre production, which was first developed in 2019 and has since been performed extensively in South Korea. He also shared its recent performances in Delhi and Mumbai and informed participants about the planned performance in Nagpur later this year. He discussed how artistic collaborations can strengthen cultural understanding and encourage dialogue between communities across different countries.
The session also focused on future opportunities for international collaboration. Mr. Kim presented his vision of bringing together Indian and Korean artists, performers, technicians, and creative professionals for joint productions and cultural projects. He shared examples of previous collaborations involving Indian participants who received professional training in South Korea and subsequently gained experience working with international theatre productions.
An important aspect of the discussion was the potential introduction of Korean language training at Nagarjuna Training Institute. Such a programme would aim to enhance students’ language proficiency, intercultural communication skills, and employability, particularly for those interested in higher education, cultural industries, and international career opportunities.
The interactive session enabled students to engage directly with the guests, ask questions about international collaborations, creative careers, language learning, and professional pathways in the performing arts sector. The discussion encouraged students to explore opportunities for skill development, cross-cultural engagement, and global learning.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Bhanu Pratap, who expressed appreciation to the guests for sharing their professional experiences and valuable insights with the NTI community. The session concluded with informal interactions between the guests, faculty members, and students.
