About POSH
The Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Policy of Nagarjuna Training Institute is committed to providing a safe, respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free environment for all employees, students, trainees, volunteers, visitors, and guests. The Internal Committee (IC) has been constituted in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
What is Sexual Harassment?
Sexual harassment is any unwelcome act or behaviour of a sexual nature—whether physical, verbal, non-verbal, written, or online—that violates a person’s dignity or creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.
Examples of Unacceptable Behaviour
- Unwelcome physical contact or advances.
- Sexually suggestive comments, jokes, or remarks.
- Staring, gestures, or inappropriate body language.
- Sending offensive messages, images, or videos.
- Repeated requests for personal meetings or dates after refusal.
- Displaying or sharing sexually explicit content.
- Any behaviour that makes another person feel uncomfortable, threatened, humiliated, or unsafe.
Rights of Complainants
- To file a complaint without fear of retaliation.
- To have the complaint treated with dignity, fairness, and confidentiality.
- To receive a prompt and impartial inquiry.
- To be informed about the inquiry process and its outcome.
- To seek support and assistance from the Internal Committee.
